Mental Health Professional
The Mental Health Professional will be
responsible for providing functions related to the delivery of
mental health care to assigned clients, to include intake
assessment, individual/family therapy, group services, and crisis
interventions both on-site and off-site..
Mental Health Paraprofessionals are under the direction of
the primary therapist and all services are coordinated with the
primary therapist and as prescribed in the treatment plan.
The Director of Clinical Operations supervises MHP’s through
direct observations, one on one consultations, client satisfactions
survey/input, customer service, meeting job obligations and through
Hometown’s evaluation process which includes a self evaluation and
360 evaluation.
Education/Experience
A masters degree from an accredited University
or College in social work, psychology, sociology, or counseling and
licensed as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Arkansas.
Mental Health Paraprofessional
The Mental Health Paraprofessional provides
weekly services on and off-site basis, serves on the client’s
treatment team, and coordinates delivery of services and referrals
as well as resource identification with their assigned clients.
Provides necessary documentation to support services
rendered. The Mental
Health Paraprofessional is not responsible for supervision of other
staff. Mental Health
Paraprofessionals are under the direction of the primary therapist
and all services are coordinated with the primary therapist and as
prescribed in the treatment plan.
Education/Experience
A bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology or
a related field or the equivalent work experience in a human
services field.
